    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: April 20, 2026

OpsHub Services ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website opshub.services and provides IT services including custom software development, DevOps, infrastructure management, and technical consulting. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our website, contact us, or engage us for services. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

    01

    Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

    A. Information you provide directly

    • Contact form submissions — name, email address, phone number, company name, and your project description or message.
    • Service inquiry details — the service of interest you select, and any project briefs or attachments you share.
    • Account credentials — if you are an administrator of our CMS, we hold your email address and a securely hashed password.
    • Business documentation — during an engagement, we may receive statements of work, NDAs, or technical specifications.

    B. Information collected automatically

    • Usage data — pages visited, time spent, referring URLs, and browser/device type via server access logs.
    • IP address — used for security monitoring and to comply with applicable legal obligations.
    • Cookies and local storage — session management and preference storage (see Section 07).

    C. Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from our cloud infrastructure providers, payment processors, or referral partners solely in connection with delivering or billing for our services.

    02

    How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

    • Respond to enquiries and provide the services you have requested.
    • Send you project updates, invoices, and service-related communications.
    • Maintain and improve the security and reliability of our systems and infrastructure.
    • Fulfil our legal and contractual obligations, including record-keeping requirements.
    • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and abuse.
    • Send occasional marketing communications about our services — only where you have consented or where we have a legitimate interest to do so, and always with an easy opt-out mechanism.
    • Analyse aggregate website usage to improve user experience (no individual profiling).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

    03

    Legal Basis for Processing

Depending on your location, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal data:

    • Contract performance — to fulfil a service agreement or to take steps at your request before entering into one.
    • Legitimate interests — for security monitoring, fraud prevention, and service improvement, provided these do not override your rights.
    • Consent — for marketing communications and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time.
    • Legal obligation — where we are required to process data by law (e.g., tax records, accounting obligations).
    04

    How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only in the following circumstances:

    • Service providers — cloud hosting (e.g., VPS providers), email delivery services, payment processors, and project management tools. These vendors are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than delivering the service to us.
    • Sub-contractors — senior engineers or specialist freelancers who work within our team on your project, bound by confidentiality obligations.
    • Legal requirements — when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights and safety of OpsHub Services, our clients, or the public.
    • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, you will be notified before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
    05

    Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy:

    • Contact form data — retained for up to 24 months to facilitate follow-up, then deleted or anonymised.
    • Client project data — retained for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years for tax and legal record-keeping purposes.
    • Server logs — automatically purged after 90 days.
    • Admin account data — retained while the account is active; deleted within 30 days of account termination upon request.
    06

    Data Security

We take information security seriously. Our technical and organisational measures include:

    • TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
    • Encryption at rest for databases containing personal data.
    • Role-based access control — data is accessible only to personnel who need it.
    • Regular security patching and vulnerability assessments of our infrastructure.
    • Passwords stored using modern one-way hashing algorithms (bcrypt/Argon2); we never store plain-text passwords.
    • Periodic internal security reviews and, where applicable, third-party penetration testing.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately at privacy@opshub.services.

    07

    Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate correctly and improve your experience. We use:

    • Strictly necessary cookies — session tokens required for authenticated areas of the site (admin panel). These cannot be disabled without impairing functionality.
    • Preference cookies — storing your UI preferences (e.g., theme) in local storage. These do not track you across sites.

We do not use advertising trackers, cross-site behavioural profiling, or third-party analytics scripts that share data with ad networks.

You can control cookies via your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to use authenticated features of our site.

    08

    Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

    • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
    • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
    • Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
    • Restriction — request that we limit processing while a dispute is resolved.
    • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
    • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
    • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@opshub.services with the subject line "Data Rights Request". We will respond within 30 days.

    09

    International Data Transfers

OpsHub Services operates with a globally distributed team (Remote (Global Operations)). Your data may be processed on servers located in different countries. When we transfer personal data outside your country of residence, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, or equivalent mechanisms recognised under applicable data protection law.

    10

    Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

    11

    Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information.

    12

    Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes affecting how we process your data, we will provide additional notice (e.g., by email to active clients).

Your continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
